'Twas the night before college and all through the house, not a creature was stirring...(except for me because I was too dang nervous to sleep!!)
Right now I officially have less than 24 hours until I move to campus for this fall semester. It's finally hit me that I'm leaving tomorrow and I'm honestly a little sad to leave my family and friends, but definitely excited for the future. I know this year will be different and It's hard going into this semester not knowing what it will look like (especially as a freshman), but I'm excited to meet new people and enjoy the opportunities I do have.
I've already done a couple things to ease these Pre-College nerves such as try and make some friends virtually and planning out all my classes and some extra things I might want to try on campus. But, there's so many new things I won't be able to do until I actually get there so I'm focusing those positives.
Goodbyes tomorrow will definitely be hard and I'll try my best to hold back the tears..I’m going to miss my family a lot! But, I'm so excited to decorate my dorm and finally get to spend time with my roommate. After doing some last minute shopping a couple days ago, I finally have all the decorations I need to have a dorm that makes me feel comfy and at home! (and hopefully I can share pictures once I'm all settled in).
I'm going to keep this short and sweet because I need to get a good nights rest, but I hope to share my move in experience and some stories from my first few days soon!
